Well, it has been a long struggle to get a new party website up and running with file archives and all data from the old databases. My initial idea of CMS style website is simply not going to be made; it requires people to sit down and code, and moderators to keep editing the content.
Instead it will be a Wiki website with templates to handle the data from database. Inital testing of OddMuse? turns out to have sufficient features for the task.
Regretably, after much effort, OddMuse? wont run under ModPerl?. So CGI will have to do for now. I will focus on getting the data imported and the site launched first. Optimization can follow later (FastCGI? springs to mind for something to try).
